The Kids’ Fishing Clinic at Naples Pier is a one-day educational event conducted by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County Foundation with the help of the Outreach and Education (O&E) Subsection of the Division of Marine Fisheries Management, part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
The primary goal of this program is to create responsible marine resource stewards by teaching children the vulnerability of Florida’s marine ecosystems and ethical angling skills. The Clinic also teach fundamental saltwater fishing knowledge and skills while promoting a positive fishing experience.
Kids age 5 to 15 are welcome. All receive a free rod and reel until supplies run out.
