Inaugural Event Presented by Emilio Sanzhez Vicario & Special Olympics Florida (Collier)

Special Olympics Florida – Collier County has announced its 1st annual “Emilio Sanchez Special Olympics – Legends. Pros. Music” event to be held Thursday evening April 5, 2018, at the Academia Sanchez-Casal (Naples Bath & Tennis Club) from 7pm-10pm. Tennis legends, and top star Special Olympics Florida tennis athletes will play, along with a night of upbeat hit music and a special musical guest.  Award-Winning Pop Artist Romero Britto has licensed the official event image for Special Olympics Florida.

The evening will see a special tennis match between legends in the world of tennis and an interactive match with the top Special Olympics Florida tennis stars.  Guest will be treated upon arrival to a special “EmilioTini” drink, named after tennis legend and host Emilio Sanchez Vicario.  Guests will enjoy a night under the stars of tennis, “EmilioTinis”, hors d’oeuvres and a special live musical performance by noted new singing artist Caitlin McGrath, singing her VEVO hit “Fuel To My Fire”.  Great music will abound all evening with Miami’s DJ Chilly.

The Emilio Sanchez Special Olympics event will be a really fun evening that honors these stellar Special Olympics athletes and the great tennis legend Emilio Sanchez.”

Before the live musical performance, the event will feature a live auction of special items, including a week-long stay at Mr. Sanchez’s academy in Spain.

Moran Edwards Asset Management Group is the title sponsor of the inaugural event.  Tickets are available at specialolympicsflorida.org/collier/ or by calling Special Olympics Florida (Collier) at (239) 775-1991.  Pricing is $85 per ticket with a special advanced pricing offer available.  Ticket money will directly go to funding athletes in Collier County with intellectual disabilities for one year of sports training and competition.
